What is a city? Streets, people, history, transport…? A bit of everything I suppose, however, what really makes city a city are – its buildings. Their primary function is to provide a practical purpose, but deep within the walls and behind windows, interesting stories of times passed wait to be told. After all, the houses are a silent witness of many ages.
Belgrade is a city with a very long and turbulent history. It lived through many wars, revolutions and changes. It was ruined countless times and then rebuilt again and again. Some of the buildings survived for many decades, and now, they present us with their story told through the camera lens.
